Elevating Your Mood
Learn ways to use your brain-body connection to bring about significant changes and improvements in your mood!
We are physical and emotional beings: both at once. Our mind and body are deeply interconnected, and this is fortunate because it offers us some unique and effective ways to improve our emotional state. The Feldenkrais lessons in this series will engage your brain's neuroplasticity to reduce stress and change the habits of muscular tension which both create and are caused by anxiety.
"Almost all of us experience anxiety to one degree or another. Anxiety involves primitive habits of muscular tension, constricted breathing, and physiological stress. Feldenkrais lessons free us from these patterns and help our nervous system to return to a healthy, naturally relaxed, 'parasympathetic' state. This is what we all want, and deserve."
-David Zemach-Bersin
"David's teachings have changed my life. I now have a knowledge and understanding that I didn’t have before. His lessons have helped me deal with stress in a way I could not have done previously.”
-Carolla Dost
"Slow and Easy. Two words that we are not very fond of in our daily lives. During these lessons, I’m gently reminded that life could be that way. Every lesson is a healing moment for my body and soul.”
