Knowing how to restore the freedom of the head and neck is vital to our work as Feldenkrais Practitioners because we often meet people seeking relief from the lingering symptoms of traumatic head, neck, and spine injuries. During a Functional Integration lesson, we may encounter disorganization in their head, neck, and spine caused by a recent injury, or disorganization related to old injuries. Frequently, we find a combination of both old and new injuries, as well as deeply entrenched related habits. These situations are best addressed with a strategic, and layered approach.
Through many years of practice, David Zemach-Bersin has developed a Functional Integration and Awareness Through Movement-based approach that has a high degree of success in addressing problems associated with acute head, neck, and spine injuries caused by concussions, whiplash, sports injuries, and falls. He has found that even in complex situations in which movement is extremely restricted, the Feldenkrais Method can help to bring about significant improvement. In this program, David shares what he has learned to help you develop perspective and confidence working in this important area.
Practical and skills-based, this on-demand program includes original ATM lessons and FI demonstrations, related anatomy, discussion, and a Question & Answer session.
To support your learning, David was assisted by Feldenkrais Trainer, Raz Ori.
