Have you ever had the experience of doing three Feldenkrais lessons in one day, for two days in a row? How about three interconnected lessons which work together, synergistically, for two days in a row? At this time of year, many of us anticipate an increase in our physical activities. We are thinking about exercising, hiking, swimming, gardening, dancing, or pickle ball, tennis, or golf. Do you feel ready for action? How about a Feldenkrais ‘tune-up’ to help you prepare?

To refresh the powerful mind-body connection and prepare your whole self for enjoying the activities of your choice, we are proud to present Bones, Breath & Balance, a timely live online Feldenkrais workshop with Guest Teacher, Dwight Pargee. Dwight’s teaching is enriched by his experience working at the intersection of Feldenkrais and sports; brain science and training. In this immersive event, Dwight looks forward to presenting two ‘trios’ of Feldenkrais lessons designed to help you activate your core strength, breathe in a way that supports health and action, and help you to be comfortable, balanced, flexible, and ready for action. The lessons will enhance the quality of your activities, and give you greater coordination, balance, sense of structure, flexibility, and effectiveness.

Those who wish to attend the workshop live online, will be guided in doing three interrelated Feldenkrais lessons, each day for two days in a row. Those using the recordings can enjoy the lessons in their own time and style. Dwight looks forward to presenting lessons that will help you develop a clearer sense of how your skeleton provides for safety, internal support and stability, stimulating the development of new neural pathways to give you better coordinative strategies. Bones, Breath & Balance is ready to support you in whatever physical activities you enjoy.

Benefits you can expect to gain from this class series:

  • Improved upright posture that is 'ready for action’
  • Improved equilibrium responses
  • Ability to move with a greater sense of integrated, whole-body movement
  • Develop better musculoskeletal support and strength
  • Reduced tension and fatigue
  • Improve your lung capacity
  • Greater ease moving from one position to another without hesitation
  • Greater access to action free from compulsion or inhibition.

"I keep coming back to Dwight's program, and I'm even more appreciative than I was the first time around."
